What are five books that changed your life?
Inspired by Ms. Genevieve.
1) The trilogy in seven parts, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams. It showed me new ways to look at the ordinary and find something unique in everything.
2) Black Holes and Time Warps - Einstein's Outrageous Legacy by Kip Thorne. Helped me to get deeper insight to the universe and people.
3) Pale Blue Dot by Carl Sagan. A look at the past, present and future of humanity, and possibly where we're headed.
4) How To Play In Traffic by Penn and Teller. Showed me how the most mundane times can be spent having fun, amazing the people around you, and bringing a little bit of joy into a dark world.
5_ Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut. By showing the darkness of the soul, and there can be light at the end of the tunnel, no matter how bleak things may look.

Windows, Mac, Linux - What's your preference and why?
Submitted by ramblingsbymark.
None of the above, thank you very much.
One of the BSD's, FreeBSD first in the list.
Why? It's a complete operating system, unlike Linux which is a kernel and patchwork applications tossed ontop.
Windows... while it has it's place, it's not a system that makes me happy.
OSX, it's candy coated!
